I really wish more bands would tour like this. Not necessarily doing two sets, although this will be rad, but keeping the openers local and streamlining tour packages. The less bands on the tour, the lower the ticket price, and the better chance for a local band to get noticed. I find myself skipping out on so many show, or going late, simply because there are too many of those mid-level bands that seem to find their way onto every tour package, War Bringer, Pathology, and Goatbore being the worst offenders. I'd much rather see a killer headliner with maybe one awesome support act and some cool locals for a lower door price.
