Testament would EASILY headline. LOVE Overkill but that is the truth. They draw the bigger fanbase, venue wise and album sales wise. |

That isn't the point. I'm going by Overkill's history in situations like this, where they won't go out as special guests because they make more money on their own. That's the exact reason why they weren't on the Testament/Anthrax/Death Angel tour, which was the original plan. Based on that I wouldn't expect them to do this either. I'm sure if Iron Maiden or Metallica invited them out they'd do it, but let's be honest, how many new fans are they going to get playing at a Testament show? Fuck all.

Maybe Overkill got over themselves?
Also who the fuck is 4ARM? Get them off, put Warbringer or Bonded By Blood on this. |

o i know of Overkill's history on situations like this. and yes im aware of why they didn't do the Anthrax/Testament tour, honestly they shoulda done it IMO. Well their last album sold 6,000 first week vs Testament's 20,000 or even Anthrax's 28,000. So them 2 alone would do quite good exposure

the only Overkill tour i have of recent memory that Overkill did NOT headline was Gigantour in 2006. Hence the show that got me into them.

Maybe it will be a co-headlining affair simmilar to the Anthrax/Testament tour. Testament and Overkill get full headlining sets and Flotsam and 4ARM get like 25 - 35 minute sets.

If the tour is called "The Dark Roots Of Thrash tour", I think it would be safe to say that Testament is headlining since it is named after the new album they have out.

There's not a doubt in my mind that Testament would play last. I'm sure Overkill is still gonna play for an hour at least.

interesting that Overkill loves to wanna play late, if not last so much. Considering most bands HATE headlining. Members from lamb of god, cattle decapitation, cannibal corpse have all said this in some way or another and yet Overkill wants to be the big thing on every tour their on.
