Meh, like all shows get posted on Facebook.

That's very true. There are a LOT of shows that happen in the LA area that don't get posted on Facebook.

Even if you don't have Facebook, any venue that's not someone's basement has a website with a schedule/calendar. If you don't regularly check those, it's your own damn fault.

This site has become my main source for tour news. I don't go to many small-scale shows that you can't find on here since there's not a local scene that is conveniently close to me, so all the bigger tours that would interest me pretty much get covered here.

I do sometimes find out about tours on Facebook first too though.

If a band is posting on Facebook, you can safely bet that they posted about said tour / show.

There is that problem where some of the band posting don't show up in my new feed. I would be on all day and not hear about a tour announcement, then go to their profile and see that it was posted while I was online.
