Morbid Angel NA tour 2012

The dates aren't cancelled; they'll be going forward as planned, but without Morbid Angel. The sets for both Grave and Dark Funeral have been extended.

Sucks, but I won't say no to a longer Grave set. They're refunding us 10$, so it's not that bad...

That really sucks, but I guess the good news for me is that I couldn't go anyways.

That sucks, but I can't say it's too surprising. The same thing happened when they were supposed to open for Pantera in 2001, they got denied entry and missed the Canadian dates. Eleven years later and I still haven't seen them - they haven't booked any dates in Western Canada since then, and I don't think they've played many (if any) dates elsewhere in the country either. Looks like I'll have probably have to travel to the States if I wanna see them.

Canadian border security can be real hardasses when it comes to denying bands entry into the country, unfortunately. Bands missing shows/tours due to this is fairly common.

This sucks but at least they are giving refunds and offering discounted tickets to see Grave and Dark Funeral.

If I recall correctly Morbid Angel was able to play Heavy MTL in 2011 and I know they played Toronto in 2006. Not sure if border security was just more restrictive this time around or something has changed regarding legal status of one or more members since then.
