I know people involved with organizing this event, also many friends who went. Manilla Road apparantly left everyone awe struck.

I wanna see Manilla Road so bad! A couple of friends of mine from the bay ended up flying up to Calgary just for Manilla Road and they somehow got to hang with Mark Shelton for the entire day.

I saw Manilla Road in their hometown of Wichita a couple years ago and they played a monster set (nearly 2 hours). Afterward, they just hung out with everybody. I was talking to Mark a bunch, and he couldn't have been a cooler guy. He wanted a lot of the people to come out and keep partying, but I had to go home (about a three hour drive)...

Still, Manilla Road are fucking amazing, even this long into their career. I can't wait to see them again at Maryland Deathfest next year.

Manilla Road rules.
I was lucky enough to see them in Chicago at the first ALEHORN.
Would love to see them again and would love to see their setlist from this show.
2/18: Ghost In The Ruins / Maiden Chicago / The Mob Rules
3/17: Iced Earth / Warbringer / Ghost In The Ruins / Depremacy

The Agalloch set is solid but way too short. I wonder how long they will play at this CT festival next week.
