Decrepit Birth has had tons of problems lately.

So I guess on their tour now in Canada their van started on fire and they had to leave it there and rent a new one and now they just posted this on their facebook.

Quote:
IMPORTANT: More bad energy has come to us in the form of a theft last night night in San Francisco. Our rental van had the side window broken out and all of our personal bags with cash, laptop computers, cell phones, passports, and id's were stolen. This was a major blow to go along with our van catching on fire in Canada and having to leave it there to be junked. At this point we will have to regretfully drop from the last few days of tour. The costs are overwhelming at this point, and to continue on would dig an even deeper hole of debt for the band, which we can't afford. We had a great time touring with our brothers in Obituary, Broken Hope, Jungle Rot, and Encrust. These bands we're beyond awesome to us during the past week of issues we've gone through. Thanks to all the fans for coming out and making this such a great tour aside from the bullshit. We gave it our all every night for you, our fans. We're down but not out....

That really sucks for them. Hopefully they can find out who took their stuff.

They played at the DNA Lounge in SF right? 11th St., where that venue and Slim's is, is known for vehicle break ins, you can find broken glass all over the street.

That really sucks for those guys though, hopefully they can recoup the money they lost somehow.

This is terrible. Touring is already rough for bands, it sucks to see one, never mind TWO major things happen like this. I hope things work out for them.

I wonder if this means obituary is coming on earlier than usual. With the fact that 10 bands are opening and one is dropping, this is seriously fucking with my schedule on when i wanna dip out of Orange county to head to LA...

At the St. Paul show, they were so pissed off about stuff that they opened the show by lighting up on stage and passing a joint to the crowd.

Too bad - they were some really nice guys when I met them a few years ago.
