I've been using the Super GNES (SNES Emulator) app on my nexus 7 tablet. Been playing Super Castlevania 4 and Super Contra. Fun times.

Heavily recommended you get around to that.

Dude, yes.

I definitely have to go with original Playstation (The first five Crash Bandicoots are still my favorite games ever) and XBox 360. N64 and original XBox are close runner ups though.

I still have my SNES that I bought back in 1992 with money from my paper-route. It took me three months to save for it. I even hooked it up last year and borrowed Secret of Mana off my brother.

My SNES crapped out on me in the late 90s

But thankfully that was around the time a little console called the playstation took over my life, 1998 to be more precise. Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy 7, 8, and resident evil 1,2,3 are some of the fondest memories that I have with that console.

Out of all the RE games to blow me away the most during my PS1-hey days, it's gotta RE3 Nemisis. I just loved those moments when you knew he was around and the music would go into that sinister "nemesis" song!

The original Resident Evil is still the definition of horror to me. I remember being a toddler watching my dad play the PS1 version and freaking out.

I got the Gamecube remake when I was 7 or 8 and would play it while being terrified.

2 great systems are missing from this poll: Colecovision and Atari 5200. Also, anyone remember the Odyssey 2, Vectrex, and Bally Midway systems? Those weren't as popular and the games were mostly ripoffs with graphics worse than the Atari 2600.

My personal most favorites are Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Genesis, and PS1.
