I listened to the new BTBAM when I went for my run this morning. It's fine, I guess. Nothing they've done since Colors has really blow me away.

I can already tell you I will be voting for none of those albums.

Regardless, you should do an EOY thread.

I'm with DethMaiden with the fact of I think only one album I had in my top 10 was on the list last year.

This year I doubt one will even be on that list.

I'll be satisfied as long as there's variety. One-dimensionality is what I'll have an issue with, not lack of congruency between my list and MSL's. I don't see that being an issue.

It just means you're more wicked undergrounds than the majority of people here.

Never listened to Witchcraft before but their new album seems pretty good, they have a good singer. It's relaxing.

Hooded Menace and Encrust are also impressive albums.

Not voting in the year-end thread because your afraid none of your albums are going to make it is fucking stupid. I know there is epic amounts of bitching from pretty much everyone year after year from what makes the list, but not voting because you are assuming you won't be satisfied with the final product just doesn't make any damn sense. I can guarantee I won't enjoy every album on the top 10, but that is no way, shape, or form deterring me from participating in the year-end voting.

If anyone has heard a post-rock album this year worth writing home about, I would love to learn of it.
