On Friday, I'll be attending my first ever opening night of any tour.

Rush kicks off their Clockwork Angels tour at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH. Small arena, fits maybe 9,000 people. They have a strict no camera policy at this particular place and I'm not very close to the stage, but I'll post the setlist as soon as I get home.

It's up to the band not the venue when it comes down to a camera policy.

I've only seen one show at the Verizon where cameras were allowed, and that was Van Halen earlier this year. Every other show I've been to has had a no camera policy.

On the other hand, the Garden always allows cameras.

I've only ever seen Nine Inch Nails at that venue and you could take pictures/video however you wanted. I've noticed for most shows the tickets always say no cameras but 9/10 times let you bring them in.
