Unleash The Archers -- Toronto, Ontario -- September 1st, 2012

This was just a small local show with Toronto bands playing, but one band from Vancouver that also played, Unleash The Archers. I saw them for the first time last year opening for Kataklysm and was just blown away by their performance. Never has a band impressed me so much live before (let alone a small underground band not many people know about). This time around it was even better cause 1. I am now familiar with their material, and 2. have befriended the band over the past year and a bit. What really draws me to this band is the singer, her (yes fella's.. her) voice is so powerful and beautiful. I've always been a fan of female fronted bands, but this band makes me appreciate it so much more. Every member in the band is absolutely amazing at what they do, but especially the singer. When she hits those really high notes, it literally sends shivers down my spine. I highly recommend checking this band out when they come to your city. I promise you won't be disappointed.

Daughters Of Winterstone
Eat What You Kill
The Path Unsought
Upon Ashen Wings
Realm Of Tomorrow
City Of Iron
Out Of The Silent Planet (Iron Maiden Cover)
General Of The Dark Army

What time did Unleash the Archers finish? I decided not to stay for Fatality because I knew it was going to be an unbelievably late show.

Crimson Shadows set:

Battle Hard
For The Glory of the Throne
Kingdom of Ale
Journey's End
Lost In A Dark Forest
Beyond the Mountain Wasteland

Crimson Shadows shot a music video during the last song. I have no complaints with their set, other than the fact that it was too short!
