Also, that's awesome that you have Abominable Putridity on there. I need to listen to that album a few more times. Very solid shit though.

Man I don't know how I ended up finding it but I heard it and fell in love with it. It's just heavy as hell with some great slam riffs but it has this crazy technical side which you wouldn't quite expect.





The Murder Construct album is crazy. It sounds how you would expect it to....Like Cattle Decapitation and Exhumed raped each other and this was born only to get thrown in a dumpster on prom night that was filled with toxic waste and it became a superbeast of a band. It's chaotic and brutal and fast as hell. Short too...I don't think it even reaches 30 minutes

Finally got my copy of Periphery II. It's a grower, but firm contender for my album of the year!

In no particular order. New Napalm Death, Baroness, Aesop Rock and Exotic Animal Petting Zoo are likely to feature in my top 10. Everything else is ranging from good to meh, but those are my top picks thus far.

New Glen Hansard, Don Baker, Animal Collective and Serpentine Path on the horizon for the coming weekend.
