Deftones/Scars on Broadway Fall Tour

I was thinking maybe some of those bands signed on for Pointfest? Either that OR maybe they plan on playing it in early 2013. Or they've signed on to a big tour that is playing there in the not so distant future (i.e, BlackDiamondSkye or Mayhem Fest type tours?).

It's just weird. Especially since the Blue Note isn't that big. With that said, I wouldn't be complaining if they came to Springfield instead.

Deftones seem to be following a recent pattern of touring in certain regions of the country (West and Mid West) and then going back home for a short break. I bet a St. Louis area date is coming after the new year, if I had to guess. Unless some other tour is preventing that from happening.

It was great seeing Alice in Chains, Deftones and Mastodon a few years back. Deftones and Mastodon with a good opener (Baroness if it wasn't for that wreck, Ghost, High On Fire, Gojira, etc) would be awesome.

Agreed. I've seen them I think 4x in a less than 2 year span. It's tough to see too many bands in this area in that time. (Clutch excluded)

Might actually consider going to this. Been listening to some Deftones after seeing them with SOAD, and I absolutely adore the Scars on Broadway album.

I hope they play here on the back of this album, we got shafted during the Diamond Eyes cycle, but they barely did the UK on that cycle so I'm not too annoyed. New album from Deftones is always good news.

Clutch, Down, Gwar, Deftones are always touring nonstop or so it seems.
