I find that don't listen to nearly as much new music as most people on here haha, but I guess if I had to rank the albums I've actually purchased this year:
1. Periphery - Periphery II: This Time It's Personal 2. The Faceless - Autotheism 3. Meshuggah - Koloss 4. Lamb of God - Resolution 5. Whitechapel - Whitechapel 6. Testament - Dark Roots of Earth 7. Six Feet Under - Undead 8. Cannibal Corpse - Torture Don't think I'm missing any... I've also listened to some of the new Dying Fetus, Kreator, Accept, Overkill and Emmure (I know...) albums on Spotify, but not enough to rank them. EDIT: Forgot Whitechapel.

Agalloch Faustian Echoes 8. Ahab The Giant 9. Old Man Gloom - No 10. Torche Harmonicraft 11. BADBADNOTGOOD BBNG2 12. Ne Obliviscaris Portal of I 13. Worm Ouroboros Come the Thaw 14. I guess i'll post my top 25 too. I wouldn't be too satisfied with this as a final top 25 because the bottom albums are only in 7/10 territory. While it's mostly 8/10 albums, anything past 6 can be switched around.
1. Death Grips - The Money Store 2. Woods of Ypres - Grey Skies and Electric Light 3. Classics of Love - s/t 4. Torche - Harmonicraft 5. High on Fire - De Vermis Mysrteriis 6. Baroness - Yellow & Green 7. Ne Obliviscaris - Portal Of I 8. Cannibal Corpse - Torture 9. JJ DOOM - Key to the Kuffs 10. Aesop Rock - Skelethon 11. BADBADNOTGOOD - BBNG2 12. Testament - The Dark Roots of Earth 13. The Faceless - Autothesim 14. Nachtmystium - Silencing Machine 15. Cloud Nothings - Attack on Memory 16. OFF! - s/t 17. Overkill - The Electric Age 18. Sigh- In Somniphobia 19. Killer Mike - R.A.P. Music 20. Van Halen - A Different Kind of Truth 21. Black Breath - Sentenced to Life 22. Accept - Stalingrad 23. Goatwhore - Blood For the Master 24. Kreator - Phantom Antichrist 25. Brendon Small - Galaktikon

Hey, crossover fans, check out the new Evil Ways record (formerly the band Gutters). It's pretty solid, in the same vein as Power Trip or Backtrack. Heavy, heavy Slayer influences. I think some of you will dig it.
