First day of grad school tomorrow. Not looking forward to it. Orientation was awful and I already don't like my department head.

Got back from my mini-tour with Odyssey from Spokane last night. Had a hell of a time and played two amazing shows! Friday in Spokane was a blast, great crowd, great bands, etc etc etc. Some kid even asked for a pair of my sticks afterwords, great time.

Saturday in Richland wasnt bad, but it could have been better. Not a whole lot of people at the venue due to a town fair, but we still did our thing and rocked those who were there!

Also on Friday, my bands music video got released! Check it out!!

Just signed up for a gym. It has really state of the art machines, so I'm excited about that. Also took advantage of the free hour of personal training on Thursday. I'm sure it'll kill me, but I'm kinda hoping that it does.

Right now I'm just kinda all about losing weight. It'll be nice because the trainer will probably show me how to do all of the lifting machines which I can use overtime, but I'm mostly just interested in the cardio stuff.

Just got back from a 3 day backpacking trip in Northern Michigan. I'm not in the best shape so carrying a 60+ pound pack 5 miles a day kicked my ass; but in a good way.

Yeah that's a good way to go. I've been doing strength training for a few years now but I still need to lose weight, it's hard because I always lose control of my diet. I do cardio too but I usually cut it short because I'm tired after the strength training.
