It's stupid how they do that, with locals playing on the mainstage. It won't be a big deal for me because I'm only interested in a few bands, but I know some people are going to be pissed that two of the touring bands they want to see are playing at the same time.

As long as Exhumed,Goatwhore,VoM,The Facless, and BTBAM don't overlap I'll be happy. Damn actually if Exhumed, Goatwhore or VoM headline a second stage, which I presume is smaller that'd be sweeet!

In Milwaukee, there was a local stage in a smaller bar in The Rave, and next to it was the Mainstage featuring all the billed bands.

I don't see why that would be any different now.

I'm saying this because of my previous experiences. I've seen the Summer Slaughter tour at this venue before and that is what they did. And if a local band is opening the mainstage like XDoomsayerX said, it leads me to believe they will be doing this again.

None of those should overlap. In the past they only put one or two of the lowest bands on the sidestage. So it should only be Conducting from the Grave and/or Cerebral Bore.

Yeah, there's a venue here in Moscow that does that, too. They've only used both for one event before (a festival with Suede last year) but there's usually a show happening in each room every day.

Same. In Worcester they had all the local bands play on the upstairs stage while the Summer Slaughter bands played on the downstairs stage.

Show yesterday in San Fran was pushed back from 2 doors 2.30 start to 3 doors 3.30 start.

Running order was:

Fallujah (only 3 songs)
Cerebral Bore
Conducting from the Grave (only 4 songs)
Exhumed
Goatwhore

The Faceless
BTBAM
CC

Show was finished by 11.30!

So apparently someone on AbsolutePunk is claiming that they are trying to get Machine Head to headline Summer Slaughter next year.

I'm taking this with a grain of salt, but if it did turn out to be true, it would be a rather odd choice. I would be okay with them headlining, but I hope that doesn't lead to a bunch of shit on the lineup.
