Fake. Sonisphere never settle the minor stage placings like that this far in advance.

Some of those bands will turn out to be correct, but then, they're not hard to guess. I see Maiden headlining Download though, not this.

Unless Phil and Vinnie patched up their differences (which would have been all over the internet before this announcement - think when Phil and Rita started talking again, but bigger), I don't see a Pantera reunion happening at all unless you replace one of them with someone else, and at that point it just becomes a grab for cash using a band's name posing as a reunion.

The festival being this booked up already is simply impossible. About MAYBE a quarter of that will be true, but as Ravenheart said, those are kind of predictable anyway.

With regards the Pantera reunion. I'd give any amount of money for it to happen, but I really don't see it being so. Down are just about to release and get back out properly touring again, so we might get some Vinnie, Rex and Phil on stage jams if their respective bands do festivals together, but an actual reunion is pretty much impossible, in my opinion.

Who knows.
Actually, I know. I am friends with Mrs. Kimberly Zide-Davis aka Pantera's current manager. Under no uncertain terms is a Pantera reunion being planned or even favorably considered by any of the remaining band members.

With that said, lets all wish Dimebag a happy birthday today

And if I had to choose a guitarist to play Dime's riffs/solos on a Pantera reunion tour it would come down to Megadeth's Chris Broderick, Dream Theater's John Petrucci or Machine Head's Phil Demmel. Those guys have great chops and are very good at copying other guitarists styles.

How to honor Dimebag on his birthday: create a fake festival lineup where his band cheats on him with a close friend.
