Reign Supreme felt to me like another band copying Dying Fetus; I mean this in the sense that though it was obviously Dying Fetus it seemed like either another band replicating their sound or DF getting lazy. All of the lead parts and sweeps felt like wankery this time around, and overall it felt to me like just another tech-death record. I wouldn't have been able to recognize it as a DF album had I listened to it blind-folded, something that hasn't happened with any of their other releases.

I'm not coherent when I explain my opinions on albums, which is why I never write reviews.

Yeah can't say I agree at all with your views on Reign Supreme Lincoln. I thought it was much better than the new Cannibal Corpse and Aborted as well as a lot of the other non-death metal releases you rated ranked higher on your list. I honestly thinks it gives Destroy the Opposition a run for it's money for their best record. For now Reign Supreme is a top 10 album for the year and I can see it staying that way or finishing just outside the top 10 come year's end.

Somewhat unrelated note: You placing Gaza at number 1 on your list makes me 10x eager to listen to it, I really need to do that by the end of the weekend. I've had it in my Itunes for a week now.
