Eluvetie on the side stage would be sick. Too short of a set but sick. Plus it would get their name out there.
Why don't they throw a hardcore band on the side stage. I mean something even that crosses over like The Ghost Inside.

Brutal that was a good line up. I really hope they go back to having more quality small stage acts and a real 2nd stage. There are losts of bands that could benefit from the exposure and make for a nice day of heavy music: Down, Ghost, Baroness, Cannibal Corpse, Arch Enemy, Skeletonwitch, Revocation, Dillinger Escape Plan, etc.
Alice Cooper would be good in the 3rd from top spot on the mainstage.

I think people are far too focused on whether bands would be a better "fit" on either Uproar or Mayhem. Sure Uproar might be a little more radio rock focused... but honestly when it comes to headliners it seems like there isn't much of a difference between the two tours. Mayhem has no problem booking radio rock bands (see 2008 and 2011) and Uproar has no problem booking heavier bands.

I think that is something that divides Mayhem Fest and Uproar. Bands like Slipknot, Slayer, LoG, Hatebreed, etc won't play Uproar but Mayhem Fest has had other bands with cleaner vocals like Manson, Disturbed, Godsmack, etc play. Maybe I'm wrong here, but since Uproar is geared towards more of the fm radio crowd, you won't be seeing any high profile metal bands on Uproar featuring harsh, screaming vocals unless the band has recieved some previous heavy radio play, like KsE or Rob Zombie. This actually has made me change my opinion on A7X possibly headlining Mayhem Fest sometime soon, I think it is more likely now. What probably is not likely is Slayer or Lamb of God on Uproar.

A7X is one of the only arena level bands that hasn't done Mayhem at this point, seems incredibly likely since higher billed acts like Disturbed and now Godsmack have done Uproar and Mayhem
Also saying it now, Testament will be on Mayhem next year
