Three Days In Darkness The Formation Of Damnation The band was on fire and sounded great. Tiny venue but sold out. The band looked like they had a really good time. Gene messed up after the second verse of "D.N.R." which lead them to start the song all over again. I saw the bands setlist and "Trial By Fire" was supposed to be after "True American Hate" but they swichted it up for some reason and played it later in the set. To sum it up this show was 90 minutes of

Testament have way too many awesome songs to ever really make a perfect setlist of reasonable length, but this is a killer one regardless. 5 songs from The New Order might seem like overkill, but I'll be damned if I'd be happy without any of those songs in there. I can imagine the upcoming tour with Anthrax having a really similar set to this one, but with The Haunting or Trial By Fire dropped.

I think you're right. Dropping those two would make the set 14 songs which was the amount they were playing when opening for Anthrax. I would like to see a few more off the new album like A Day In The Death and Man Kills Mankind make the set to. They probably won't add in any more new stuff until they tour on their own which won't be until later this year or early next year.

That's a great setlist. Like it a lot. I think only the additions of True Believer, Alone In The Dark and Low would make that better for me.

No opening act last night. The stage was so small that there wouldn't have been room for one either.

Nice set but some more stuff from Dark Roots would be great.

Was Chuck reading the lyrics for the Dark Roots songs like he was at Wacken?

I think it has the perfect amount of material from the new album. I personally don't really like it when bands overdo material from their new album, unless it completely blows everything else they've done out of the water.
