Tinley Park was a fun time. Almost got puked on and got my ass kicked during Anthrax and Slayer. It was great meeting Chris as well, thanks for the sunglasses and again, sick Bones shirt! It's a shame my friends and I were the first to recognize it.

I doubt it's being cancelled. I was at the Tinley Park show last night and they were using "Lifetime Passes" for Mayhem Festival if you signed up for the Mayhem Cruise. Not saying it is impossible, that would just be some very shady business practice.

Yea they giving life time passes for anyone on the cruise and it is way too popular to be cancelled.

And Tinley Park day was awesome. Met Chris and saw Garagemetal again. Ended up having to pick up Garagemetal during Anthrax since he wanted to crowd surf. All bands except the first two were awesome.

I saw more people this year than the last two years I think. Slayer and Slipknot were very cool and fun. Also, Motörhead was very boring.

This. They sounded great musically but I couldn't understand a word Lemmy said inbetween songs and they were boring to watch.

I saw Motörhead at Gigantour earlier in the year and had no desire to see them again. I used their time to find some good merchandise and grab some horrible food to tide me over. I certainly respect their contributions to metal and appreciate the fact that without them, a lot of the metal music today wouldn't exist. With that said, I didn't care to stick around.

Agreed, I like the music but they are not great live. The other main stage bands were crazy good.

I personally thought Motorhead was the second best band on the main stage (aside from Slayer obviously), although you really couldn't understand a thing Lemmy was saying. I thought AILD was really boring and Slipknot was fucking terrible.
