Yeah I was thinking that earlier, that's a major area of the harbor.
I've never been as far north in Baltimore as the Ottobar. Is it similar to the area of Sonar?

I don't live in Baltimore but I'm all of 30 mins from it so I've spent quite some time there and there's no way it would be at Ottobar, too small. Soundstage probably not since that also is a surprisingly small venue with way too much emphasis on the VIP shit, not to mention it would kill the outdoor stage. Rams Head Live seems to be the only viable option due to it not actually being on a street, but sort of in a walking area for pedestrians. You would of course have the issue of all the bars around it that play "club" music, having to deal with death metal at full volume outside of their bar. I'm sure the guys will make a good choice but I hope it's not the goddamn Ottobar.

Yeah MDF has been getting more packed every year. Ryan and Evan are very good when it comes to organizing a fest like this and I think they're aware that they need another venue the same size, if not bigger than the Sonar.

They're probably going to go bigger than Sonar. It's one of the biggest attractions to a place like Baltimore and the city LOVES them for hosting it. I bet it gets to a bigger club that can still accommodate two street stages. I don't know Baltimore well, but I'm sure there's a venue that fits.

I'd love to hear the decision-making behind something like this, because the organization for this must be really fucking tough to coordinate.
