That happens to me once too. Brent's bullshit caused to miss Ol'e Nessie

Back on the setlists front, having reviewed lyrics/notes I agree with that Soundgarden set, so have updated accordingly.

Also added: Mastodon, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Year of The Goat, Symphony X, Bad Company and Ugly Kid Joe.

Not really too sure on the Mastodon one, but the songs in brackets are what was most likely played, comparing it to other recent European tour setlists.

As standard for a festival crowd those packed in front of the stage were going nuts, everyone else was scattered across the field standing or sitting and watching.

He threatened to stop playing, moaned about the lack of activity (like he's a regular Bruce Dickinson), called the entire crowd "pathetic", played the next song then did it again. Played the rest of the set sulking. When he needed to change guitars for the last time he slammed the one he'd finished with into the floor, and as the last song was winding down he played the last couple of bars from behind the drums so he could storm staight off. Left the others (mostly Troy) to acknowledge the crowd.
Wow, that's brutal. I've never seen Mastodon live, this kind of thing doesn't make me want to change that.

They're not usually like that. If you get the chance, I'd give em a shot.

They are great live. But this is far from an isolated incident.

Jesus H... BAD COMPANY played?!?! Wow, Paul Rodgers is a vocal legend in my opinion. Ive seen him with Queen (brian + roger) but with the Company it would be even better.

youre def. right about that. Mastodon toiled around for a long, long time before they got any real following. saw them/heard about them playing to very small crowds around the NYC area for a long time. im talking 50 to 100 people.

is Brett the one with a drinking problem who got fucked up by the dude from SOAD?

That happened a handful of times on that CTS tour. At the end of that cycle and the two times I've seen them on this cycle they've been awesome and tightened up their vocals, which was the only thing lacking in their shows.
