Awesome show. My friends and I arrived right as Kool and the Gang finished, which seriously bummed me out since I actually love disco. Dave's voice was not too great to be honest, but his energy and flat out ridiculousness made up for it. Wolfgang and Eddie did great on backing vocals. I don't think they were piped in at all, and if they were it definitely didn't sound like Michael Anthony's vocals being played, that's for sure.

I watched some clips on YouTube on - yea - Dave sounds like he was barely singing half the lyrics. And when he did sing, it sounded weak.

Too bad since I'm going to the show next Sat @ Staples. Oh well, at least EVH will kill it, no doubt.

Yeah, Dave's voice was pretty bad throughout. Definitely a big step down compared to the initial reunion tour when his voice was at it's live peak. I'd go next Saturday as well, but I really shouldn't because of finals and such.

I was going to go to this since I was offered a ticket for $27.50 then make it to the Down And Out in time for The Hitchhikers (who went on at 11:45) but then I listened to Electric Falcon who a bit further down the bill and figured if I miss this then Van Halen at any price is no bargain.

I will post a setlist when I figure it out.
