It's obviously so they can get The Struggle Within out of the way and done with as soon as possible, since it's completely shite and Metallica is probably ashamed of it. Or should be.

The Struggle Within is actually a pretty badass opener to the TBA set. See here:

They should have only played the album once, it's more exciting and special that way. Now people are expecting it....

Playing the Black Album backwards is fine since all the songs stand on their own, fucked up would be Pink Floyd playing the Wall backwards.

Glad that Metallica's SF show this August isn't part of this tour... unlike my friend with whom I am attending the show, I'm not interested in hearing the whole Black Album; I'd much rather prefer seeing Fade to Black, Welcome Home (Sanitarium), Blackened, The Shortest Straw, Harvester of Sorrow, All Nightmare Long, The Day That Never Comes, Jump In the Fire, For Whom the Bell Tolls, and/or Creeping Death. However, I'd still like to see Wherever I May Roam, Holier Than Thou, and Sad But True

Out of the songs you've mentioned the only ones i've never seen them do live are Jump In The Fire and Holier Than Thou.
