Meshuggah -- San Francisco, CA -- May 6th, 2012

In short, other than having a few fans, Baroness was way out of place but awesome as always. Kind of ironic that I was thinking "you just don't get it" at a Meshuggah show. Meshuggah was Meshuggah, super intense, great performance and lighting.

Baroness
Golgotha
March To The Sea [New song]
Steel That Sleeps The Eye
Swollen & Halo
The Gnashing
Take My Bones Away [New song]
The Sweetest Curse
Isak

Meshuggah
Tape Intro
Demiurge
Pravus
Combustion
Glints Collide
Lethargica
Do Not Look Down
The Hurt That Finds You First
Minds Mirrors [Tape]
In Death Is Life/In Death Is Death
Bleed
New Millennium Cyanide Christ
I Am Colossus
Rational Gaze
-
Future Breed Machine
Dancers To A Discordant System

Pretty much the same deal in LA- Baroness were out of place yet awesome and Meshuggah ruled. The new Baroness songs sounded good, but I'm betting that Yellow and Green isn't gonna top Blue Record. The new songs just sounded more conventional than what I was hoping for.

Man, that set is killer.

Good cuts from the new album, especially Demiurge, Do Not Look Down and The Hurt That Finds You First.

FBM, NMCC... and Dancers to a Discordant System as a closer!!! Fucking jealous.

Good to see FBM back on the setlist too!

I will be seeing this show tomorrow in Van. This will be my 5th Meshuggah show and I am BEYOND excited to see every one of these damn setlists, I cant complain about a single song played from the 3 bands.

Yeah we'll see. They have a way of making a record greater than the sum of its parts.
