Rammstein -- Uniondale, NY -- April 28th, 2012

Pretty amazing show. These guys get better and better everytime I see them. If you don't want to know what they do for each song, then avoid anything in the setlist that isn't bold. I'm working from memory, so bear with me. Same set as the other shows:

(The bridge comes down from the ceiling, the band walks across, Ollie (in the lead) with torche, Flake and I think Christoph with Flags)
Sonne - fire during the chorus
Wollt Ihr Das Bett In Flammen Sehen - the sleeves of Till's jacket shoot out firework sparks
Keine Lust
Sehnsucht
Asche zu Asche
Feuer Frei! - flamethrowers on Paul, Richard, and Till's faces at the end of the song
Mutter - Till stands under a shower of firework sparks
Mein Teil - the song starts with Till (dressed like a chef, covered in blood, with a butcher knife for a microphone) pushing out a giant cauldron with Flake inside (like Volkerball). After the middle section of the song, Till comes out with the flamethrower, and then brings another much larger torche and torches the pot. Flake jumps out with the fog machine on his back shooting smoke and such, he runds around the stage and is chased by falling fireworks.
Links 2-3-4 - Till comes out with the big crossbow which shoots fireworks around him. Later in the song, they shoot off 2 red fireworks that circle around and explode on the stage.
Du Riechst So Gut - flamethrowers on Richard and Paul's arms; band freezes on stage after the tapping section
Du Hast - so much fire. At one point, the stage just looked like it was actually on fire. But no... it wasn't.....
Haifisch - Flake rafts over the crowd
(bridge comes down, and they all crawl across to the other stage on all-fours in leashes with Cristoph holding them, and whipping them as they crawl. Richard is already on the other stage doing the intro to Buck Dich from the infamous live video.)

Buck Dich - Till wears this odd contraption on his face (kind of like a muzzle) that shoots out liquids like the dildo in the aforementioned video
Mann Gegen Man - Flake hits one of them (couldn't really tell which one) with a large fluorescent light bulb
Ohne Dich
(bridge drops down, they all go back across, and bow. Till says "thank you very much," and they all walk off stage.)

Amerika - AND SUDDENLY... confetti... EVERYWHERE
Ich Will
Engel - Till comes out with the metal wings with the torches
Pussy - foam-shooting penis cannon

Amazing show. Was easily better than the last 2 times I saw them, and I cannot wait to see them again. Hopefully they'll play Adios then lol.

But seriously, this set was perfect. If anybody hasn't seen this band live, or if you have but you're not sure if you want to go, get out there and buy a ticket. It really is worth every single penny.

A little over two hours, be ready because the second Joe Letz is done Rammstein comes on.

Any tips you can give me on bootlegging? Equipment I'd need, techniques, etc. I've been trying since 2009 to get a decent tape, but they've all sounded like shit or looked like scrambled cable porn.

Why can't people just enjoy the show and not record it? Doesn't it take away from the experience if you're more concerned about recording that actually enjoying the show?

I've been filming shows for 10 years with pro equipment. I'm not one of those tenny boppers that trys to record with their cell phones/digi cams. I'm hoping that comment was made towards that. If it was i totally agree. People up front or wherever should be enjoying it spending all that money on tickets.

On me the other hand, Concert Recordings have been around since Elvis days and earlier. This isn't something that just happened. And thousands of people still enjoy live recordings. I personally do enjoy the band while filming. And again and again and again re-watching it on my home theatre system

Not sure what you are trying to do (audio/video) or what you are using. Sit where you want, I never sit where my tickets are. Last row, Balconys work best. I could help more if you knew what you plan on doing. Thanks
