I guess in a way it counts since you discovered it this year.

I heard it back then but it got lost in all the albums I was starting to get promo=s for. I should go back to it.

I just bought the new Dragonforce and it's pretty good. The new singer is definitely one of the best imaginable replacements, but I don't think ZP will ever be truly replaceable. I don't really like that they cut all of the songs so short, because now the guitar solos aren't as long or interesting. A couple of the songs sound like they are straight off of Sonic Firestorm which is a good thing.

I think this is going to be a grower. It's definitely better than Ultra Beatdown, but not as good as the first three. Hopefully I'll have a review up soon.

For anyone that listened to and liked Sorne's House of Stone last year, Morgan personally emailed me today and said he has five records of material that he'll be releasing over the next three years.

So, we might expect a new Sorne album this year!

And yes, I realize the excitement is probably limited to just me, but I thought I'd share this just in case anyone else is interested.

It means a lot to hear you say that my friend. And I'm not surprised to hear it coming from you. I ranked that album entirely too low on my list. Big mistake in hindsight. That and omitting InThyFlesh's album.

If he has anything else as good as Coyote or Silent Fall...

Most of you guys probably think that Anthony Fantano (theneedledrop) is a dick nose but his review of the new Death Grips went up today and it's the first album that was ever granted a 10/10 on his channel. I can't wait to hear this record tomorrow.
