I hope Bolt thrower Come back to the U.S one day. They are very very high on my list of bands that I MUST SEE before I Burn in ashes. Autopsy was high up on that list but thankfully I got to see them three months ago with Incantation.

Truly an excellent Bolty set. They played the bolded songs in Saturday night's set (the only one I saw) at MDF a couple of years ago as well. Interesting that they didn't choose to include "Cenotaph", but "All that Remains" is a great selection from Realm of Chaos. Also, "Cannons" is an excellent closer - nice choice there as well.

Did anyone else notice that the songs were in chronological order, and that each of their eight full-length studio albums was represented at least once throughout the list? That's pretty fucking awesome. Not surprising, since it was an anniversary show, but awesome nonetheless.

You didn't see them play the second night too?

And yeah, it's cool they played something from every album. It would have been even better if they had played another from In Battle There Is No Law and Realm of Chaos though. Those are my favorites, along with War Master.

Agreed on the early albums, although I do like Those Once Loyal a great deal as well.

...and no, I only bought a ticket for Saturday because I could only break away for one day, and Saturday had the best lineup that year.
