I don't think i have heard many new albums this year, but the new Borknagar is in constant rotation whenever I am listening to music. ICS Vortex's vocal parts are absolutely amazing.

Loved the new Shinedown, not on first listen, but upon further listens.
new halestorm is pretty great.
I love parts of demon hunter, some of it is just meh. Only one song that I can't stand.
