Awesome. I don't think I like this one quite as much as Ironbound, but it's still pretty good.

Overkill = quality. Should've been as big as the big four, at least as big as Slayer.

Agreed.

I think I like Overkill's "classic" albums more than most of the Big 4's classic stuff.

Fair enough, they deserve some recognition. But they deserved it for other albums. This one's boring and repetitive. Or, in Blitz's words "more straight forward". Still better than most bands' efforts, of course. And they're still the best thrash band around.

I don't know if I'd say it's boring and repetitive, but it definitely seems a little formulaic, like they realized how great Ironbound was and how well it was received and decided to try and make an Ironbound 2. I agree that it still shits on most other bands' efforts though.

And I think I'd take Korzus instead of Suicidal Angels, just because I've already seen Suicidal twice.

Definitely. On first listen I thought The Electric Age was good, but second time around I just felt like I was listening to the same song over and over. Ironbound had a lot more going for it.

I've read your reviews for ReliXIV and Immortalis, and from what I remember you gave them moderately favourable reviews. What's your thoughts on Electric Age compared to those two? I personally think Electric Age beats the living shit out of those, since they're Overkill's worst two albums to my humble ears.

Wow. That'a a huge increase. Too bad, since Ironbound is a far superior album, although the new one isn't bad.
