I've been listening to it nonstop since I got it on Wednesday and it's definitely as good as Paradogma if not better. The new vocalist/guitarist and drummer did an awesome job. And Giulio did some excellent work with the guitar leads.

Gave the new Veil of Maya a spin. I don't hate it. Nothing really stands out to me, but for whatever reason, I don't mind it. First few songs are actually pretty good IMO.

3 songs into the new Hour of Penance and it's already some of the best Death Metal I have heard all year. I picked up Overkill too so when I get out of work I will give my thoughts on that.

Wait until you get to track five: "Ascension". If that isn't a live show fist-pumping death metal anthem, I don't know what is.

P.S., the correct answer is, "it is". I know because I was there.

Yeah, I think I listened to it once and haven't picked it up since. Didn't like it nearly as much as I did [id].

Give it another a chance. I really liked to begin with, but it keeps getting better with repeat listens. It's a lot better than [id] imo.
