Did something a little different for this show than I do for other shows. Had VIP tickets!!!!!!!!!! So I got there just as they were letting in the VIP ticket holders and when I walked into the Opera House, there are members of each band standing around waiting to meet the fans. Talked to Cam Pipes & Justin Hagberg of 3 Inches Of Blood, Trey Williams of Dying Fetus & John Boecklin and Dez of DevilDriver!!!!!! That was a great experience and would definitely get VIP tickets of another show again.

On to the show now. I didn't watch every band cause the only bands that had my interest on this bill were 3 Inches Of Blood, Dying Fetus & DevilDriver. So the first band Wretched played, never heard of them so I thought I'd check them out. They were pretty good, nothing special, but not bad. Definitely a good opener for this show.

Next was Impending Doom. I'm not a fan so I didn't watch them.

After them was 3 Inches Of Blood!!!!!!! They were sick live. This was the first time I'd seen them live and I was blown away. Cam Pipes vocals are just phenominal!!!

After them was Job For A Cowboy, or as me and my buddy Alex call them, Blowjob For A Brokeback Mountain Cowboy LMAO!!! Yeah I hate this band, even have they have completely changed their sound from their original deathcore sound, I still think they're shit.

After them was Dying Fetus!!!!!! Another first for me seeing them live, holy shit!! Watching these guys play their instruments is so mezmerizing!!!! I've never seen people hands move so fast before. That aside, they just tore up the place. One of the most violent pits I've ever been in for sure.

After them was The Faceless. Again, not really into this band, so I skipped them. But when I came back inside they were still on, and I definitely give them respect because they know how to play and are very talented, just musically, not my thing.

And the final band of the night, DevilDriver!!!!!! 3rd time seeing them now, they blow me away everytime!! What can I say, they just know how to bring it and deliver one hell of a show!!

I was there as well. The only band I was really there for was DevilDriver. And while I don't necessarily hate or dislike all of the other bands, i'm not a fan of any of them either, so I just felt bored during a few of the sets. 3 Inches of Blood impressed me though, and they probably got one of the bigger receptions of the supporting bands. Though Impending Doom I don't really like at all.

DevilDriver killed it as usual though.

The new Faceless song, over 6 minutes, very impressive for them, now if the new cd were full of long songs like this, we might get a cd lasting more than a half hour.

I did the VIP in Dallas last year. The ticket price is not all that ridiculous either. It's one of the few times where the VIP is worth the price. I don't know if they do it this year but last year we got hot sauce!!!! Wooooo!!! Different bands this year I probably would have sprung for VIP again.
