Sumerian posted this as a follow up to their comments regarding another band doing Mayhem. Naturally half of the nearly 200 posts that follow are people thinking those exact bands are playing.

It's very possible, it could also be a band like Structures or Stick To Your Guns.

I realised that afer I posted it, I The Breather could be another possibility. With this addition of another Sumerian Band, I have a feeling there is going to be a second side stage after all.

I feel like they'd have to, this would make 11 bands(including Jager opener) which isn't far off from the usual 13-15 bands they have, and the two side stages cuts down on setup time and prevents overlapping with the Main Stage

Fuck it, why not.
Slipknot - Yes Slayer - Meh Motörhead- Meh Asking Alexandria - Bad The Devil Wears Prada - Bad As I Lay Dying - Meh Anthrax - They're decent Whitechapel - Their singer killed it on that song he did with Chimaira, but his own band is meh High On Fire - Not really familiar. Quote:
Also, you guys are making it sound like scene/hardcore kids haven't been in the same place as metal fans before. I mean every Sounds of the Underground tour had hardcore/"scene" bands mixed with metal bands, and the crowds got along fine. High on Fire was on the first SOTU, and their fans were able to coexist just fine with the kids who were there to see Every Time I Die and Poison the well. Not to imply those bands are as bad as Devil Wears prada or Whitechapel, but a lot of those fans fall in the same category, so I don't think Whitechapel fans will be booing High on Fire at all. Pretty much all the talk of "fans vs. fans" happens on the internet. Once the show happens nobody actually gives a shit.

Doesn't really matter what he thinks of the bands, what he says about the fans of different genres is true.
