Erik goes out there and sets the tone from the beginning. He high fives people in the front with tremendous force. It's funny how he even addresses the crowd with a death growl in between songs too haha. Maybe it was an off night for him when you saw him.

The first time I saw them at Key Club the drums kinda overwhelmed everything else. They had much better, more balanced sound when I saw them last week. And Erik didn't have the guitar issues he had at Key Club.

Yeah. Again, when Hate Eternal is opening for bands with a vastly different audience (or just on a shitty tour), Erik probably won't be as good as he can be.
