It's some symphony orchestra playing selections from the whole series with video screens showing scenes from the games, including VII. I just can't remember which songs they play. I got tickets hoping they'd play some of the music I really loved then checked the website and found that they played the more orchestral songs (duh?).

Regardless of the badassery of the current Xbox 360 catalogue, as well as video games of the last decade, FFVII is still my alltime favorite. The enigmatic characters, perfect story, and beautifully constructed battle/materia system....just wow. I was obsessed with it for years.

Nobu Eumatsu was a maniac. I ALMOST teared up when Aeries took the Masamune to the spine. It had a rare way of making you so invested in the characters from the very beginning.

Definitely Square's magnum opus, and template for all RPGs that followed.

Advent Children flick was badass too.

I actually played VII again last summer for probably the first time in ten years. I had forgotten how dark and twisted that game's story was (in relation to other Final Fantasies) and how awesome the music was. One thing it does need is a graphic upgrade. Playing it was, well...a lot like playing any other PSone game; very hard to watch.

Very true, but at time, it was likenectar the Kill 'Em All of Playstation.

There's been numerous rumors over the years about a revamping, but that doesn't seem like its happening. Id even be satisfied with Advent Children styled sequences.
