I actually only got Ace of Spades a few months ago. I'd been into Motorhead for a couple of years but never got around to getting it. However, it's easily my favorite record of theirs now and probably one of my all time favorite albums.

Which might tell us that even back then Ozzy wasn't able to pull those notes off live. I love his voice on SBS and Sabotage but there's no doubt that Ozzy sang way higher than his voice was ever meant to on those two albums.

Still one of the most important albums to me, personally.

It has a bluesy feel to it.

I like Master of Reality slightly more than Paranoid and SBS.

That's to be put in the "the most beautiful women in Metal" thread.

6. Aerosmith - Toys In The Attic (1975)

The album that finally made them huge.

Ah, the seventies... my favourite period in music lasts from 1969 - 1989, and Aerosmith is still one of the bands I listen to the most. I even like a lot of their "not troo commerciul sh*t". As you all know, there are other bands who changed their sound and sold even more or at least as much as before. (Queen, Metallica)

From Walk This Way to the title track... The riffs are among the best ever written, and even Big Ten Inch Record sounds solid.

Fun fact: Run DMC thought that the band who made WTW was called Toys In The Attic!

Favourite track: No More No More

5. Aerosmith - Rocks (1976)

Ah, 1976. A hot summer, and the year my parents married.

It was in those peaceful times these new rockstars released their best album. Even though they were, shall we say, high on the food chain of drugs, they didn't let it go (yet). Rats In The Cellar can be seen as some sort of biography, and as the darker side of Toys...

The six string bass on Back In The Saddle alone, played by Joe Perry, is worth buying the album.

Favourite track: Sick As A Dog

4. AC/DC - Back In Black (1980)

In before teh metallicats attack

Well what can I say? Singer dies, band decides to go on with an almost unknown bloke that sung in Geordie...

Band makes record, record sells gazillions and is still one of the most successful albums of all times.

Metalisart finds it hard to pick one favourite…

But chooses Shoot To Thrill...
