I got a promo copy for Primal Rock Rebellion.

As both a Maiden and SikTh fan, Its going to be either a trainwreck or awesome.

The new Asphyx is the best death metal release to come out this year easily. "Torture" or anything else that's going to come out later this year is going to have a really hard time beating it.

I agree with your assessment, but the new Decibel I got yesterday gave Torture a 9 and last month they gave Deathhammer an 8; different reviewers though I think. Not that Decibel is the be all and end all of reviews, but they are usually pretty good. I'm really looking forward to hearing all of Torture.

Maybe it's just because I'm a fanboy, but I think Torture is easily going to be the best Death Metal album this year.

I listened to the Napalm Death album this afternoon and its pretty fucking good! But as its been mentioned above already, Deathhammer is my favorite DM release to this point. Love to see how Torture fares against it though.

Not to mention new Hour of Penance and Spawn of Possession too. Good times.
