Sleepmakeswaves US tour
sleepmakeswaves have today announced US tour dates leading up to their appearance at SXSW in Texas. The band will visit Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia and Houston before heading over to showcase in Austin.

The band have debuted at #148 on the CMJ Top 200 with their self-titled US EP, released in January.

The EP features tracks from the band's first few Australian releases and acts as an introduction to the US for the band, whose debut album "...and so we destroyed everything" will be released locally in mid-2012.

sleepmakeswaves 2012 US tour dates:

Fri March 9th @ Homeroom, Los Angeles CA - all ages
Sat March 10th @ The Acheron, Brooklyn, NY - all ages
Sun March 11th @ St Vitus, Brooklyn, NY
Mon March 12th @ Milkboy, Philadelphia, PA
Tues March 13th @ Warehouse Live, Houston TX
Wed March 14th @ TBA, Austin TX
Thu March 15th @ TBA, Austin TX
Sat March 17th @ Maggie Mae's, Austin TX

sleepmakeswaves are one of my favorite bands ever but the closest date is Philadelphia. Fuuuuuuuucccckkkk.

A post-rock band from Australia is doing their first US tour and you want to see an American band that has toured multiple times instead?
