Testament -- Libertyville, IL -- February 10th, 2012

I wasn't at the show, it was 21+ and I had work anyway. But DAMN. That's a fucking headlining set right there! My friend who went (who actually got the set) said that they couldn't play Trial By Fire because apparently Gene Hoglan didn't know it. But yeah, I thought I'd post this for anyone interested.

Anyway you can lighten that picture up. It looks like it's been in 3 Days Of Darkness.

The Haunting... Honestly, I rather have Testament headlined the co-headlining tour with that set then Anthrax...

I really wanted to see Testament when they came around to Chicago again, but why would they choose the night that Megadeth is also playing in Chicago? There are only a handful of good 80's era thrash bands, and two in Chicago on the same night is bad planning. If I didn't have Megadeth tickets, Testament is the show I would have rather been at. Also, this show was not well advertised. I don't even think Testament had it on their website.

I would put those Megadeth tickets on craigs list tonight and buy Testament tickets tomorrow. I've seen both bands recently and they are worlds apart on every level...

After seeing Dave storm off stage one night then go through the motions another, I have no interest in ever seeing them again...
