Hung out in the lobby during YOB's set, so I didn't see them. But they played from 8:00 to 8:20. Tool played from 9:00 to 10:40. It was cool to hear the rarer songs (Hooker, Ticks, Intension), but surprisingly those songs turned out to be the low points in the set for me. I didn't think Hooker was a very good opener either. Also, I was disappointed that they cut Parabola from the encore. Especially considering the high prices ($90 tickets, $25 parking, $13 beers), I think they could have played a tad longer. Security were really strict about cameras too. Oh well, despite my complaining, I had a good time and the rest of the show was awesome.

Worth it for Tool if they play a full 2 hours. If I knew they were only going to play 100 minutes, I might have waited until their next album cycle.

But, the show was sold out, so obviously there are enough Tool fans out there willing to pay $90.

i think the days of 2 hours Tool shows are long gone. Maynard isn't gonna be on stage with any of his acts for more than 90 or so minutes except maaaaaybe Puscifer, since that's the only one he truly cares about. And keep in mind that those 90 minutes or elss include long down periods of no actual performance.

And all that is why im done giving this arrogant prick any more of my $, despite my love for his ability to create music.

That sucks they've only played Sober and Parabola twice on this tour. Those are two songs I need to see live.

Don't know what you're talking about. They were resolved never to play it, and so I was resolved never to have seen / heard it live. My only complaint, if I had one, would be that I had to miss this tour - and sure, that song is one of several reasons why.

The good news is that they should be touring again when the new album comes out, and I'll try my damnedest to see them then.
