Had the same shitty sound issue when I saw them in Indianapolis on the Rust In Peace Anniversary tour. We drove 4 hours to see it too!

The sound was pretty good for an arena show in CT, so I'm shocked they didn't have an easier time with in the MSG theater (which is a friggin' theater, duh).

I was 5th row at that show and I thought the sound was very good. Where were your seats?

We were on the right,just under the balcony. I think that was part of the problem.I bet it was much better up front.

I don't remember the Volbeat setlist well because I didn't really know them. They played I Only Wanna Be With You which separates it from the other sets so far but the rest seems similar.

The Theater at MSG sucks for Metal shows.
Saw Heaven&Hell/Coheed there a few years ago.
The ceiling is low and flat, straight across.
There was probably something upstairs in the main MSG, hence the low volume.

Having seen Magadeth 4 times in the last 2 years i skipped this one.
Sounds like i made the right choice!
