Good review, but as a LONG time MF / King Diamond fan (over 20 years), I still extremely FAIL to see the similarities. Sorry. Maybe from overall tone, but certainly not lyrically.

I am a fan of GHOST BTW, I just never agreed with the King D / MF comparisons.

That's funny my first perception of him was the same thing, but after talking to him after the Cambridge show that all changed, he was really cool guy hanging out with the fans and talking to everybody. The whole band was class act.

I'm sure he's probably a good guy. But he pulled the "get mad at the audience for not responding like I would like them to respond" thing.

It's annoying when an opening band does this. You're an opening band. Very few people have heard your music. The fans aren't going to react like a bunch of 15 year olds seeing the Beatles for the first time.

Play your music, put on a good show, and maybe the audience will come around. Or maybe they won't. Either way, acting all high and mighty because the crowd isn't into your precious music is a douche move.

My dad and I had never heard this band so we decided to check them out before going. Well, they did absolutely nothing for either of us. Their 70's rock sound is barely above average and even a bit boring to some extent. So, we decided to pass it up.

I'm keeping that pick in my wallet at all times. He literally slapped it in my hand and it felt so damn evil. I loved it. haha

I didn't notice the singer of Ancietn Vvisdom being douchey at all. But he was pretty damn drunk when I met Blood Ceremony.

I'm wearing the shirt still. I love it so much.

Fonz, you really missed out. Ghost live compared to on record is such a HUUUUUUUGE difference. anyone who has seen them live can back me up.

This is true! I was hammered as all hell when I saw them and I still remember them! They were actually an experience to see at MDF, the whole place felt different.
