Bloodbath - Nightmares Made Flesh Genre: Death Metal Arguably Bloodbath's best album. Everything about this album is intense. Peter Tägtgren does a spectacular job with the vocals on here, ranging from higher pitched screams to very low growls. He also makes it so that you can understand what he is saying at the same time. To me, he is the highlight of the album. Followed up would be the drums, which help make the album as intense as it is. While not grouped in with the legendary Swedish death metal bands, there's still no reason to not check out Bloodbath, especially this album. Highlights: Soul Evisceration Bastard Son of God Year of the Cadaver Race

I've never really been fond of Tägtgren's voice. I prefer Mikael's voice, but seeing as he can't growl anymore I'd be fine with Tägtgren

I like Mikael's growls in Opeth much more than his growls in Bloodbath; when it comes to Bloodbath, Tägtgren completely destroys Akerfeldt.

I think his voice fits in Hypocrisy and Lock Up, but I've just never cared for him in Bloodbath Last edited by metallicbrian666; 01-22-2012 at 08:34 AM. |

Disma - Towards the Megalith ![]() Genre: Death Metal One of the two 2011 albums on here, and the one newer band that can replicate the classic "Incantation" sound perfectly, because the guy who did vocals on the first couple Incantation albums is doing vocals on this as well! This is as close to 90's brutal/tech death metal as you'll get. It's slow and mid paced for the most part, yet the riffs are crushing and you'll have a fun time headbanging along to the songs. I can't wait to see them live. Highlights: Chasm of Oceanus Purulent Quest Lost in the Burial Fog

I think the best way to put it is that the Disma album is the best Incantation album since the last Funebrarum album.

Today at the Corpse show I found a dude wearing a Disma shirt with his wife. When I told him how much I love Disma they freaked out that someone my age new them and immediately got my name because they're good friends with the band. Just thought I'd add my cool story

Hell yes
![]() I think I prefer the other two albums slightly more because I prefer Mikael's vocals with the band, but I don't disapprove of Peter at all. There's honestly nobody I would rather have take over for Mikael, even though their vocal styles are extremely different.
