Not sure how many people here are into Toby Driver/maudlin of the Well/Kayo Dot stuff but Kayo Dot released a new album that can be streamed/bought here

http://kayodot.bandcamp.com/album/gamma-knife

Not sure how it sounds since I haven't listened to it and these guys are always experimental as fuck, but I'm sure it's good.

I've been a Toby Driver fan for years but...

maudlin of the Well >>> Kayo Dot

I'll be checking this out and probably buying it.

I wish they would just reunite in general. It doesn't seem like he has much passion of motW anymore, which sucks. Coyote did nothing for me when it came out. Although he other Kayo Dot albums were ok.

This EP is actually surprisingly better. Well worth the 5 bucks.

The debut self titled album by Stone Magnum is great trad doom and so is the atmospheric blackend doom/sludge band Verdun's EP "The Cosmic Escape of Admiral Masuka".

Downloaded new Alcest. Very excited to listen to it.

Decibel gave it a 9.
