I think the exact opposite, I've seen Intronaut already and need to see YOB. I'm really glad they're on the second leg of this tour. They will get alot of exposure.

EDIT: YOB will be doing live dates to and from the Tool tour. Fuck yeah they come anywhere close I HAVE TO GO

I kinda see what you mean, but IntrOnaut was so awesome when I saw them previously that I'd be stoked to see either one, frankly. If only I didn't have to travel for work during the one show that's in (or anywhere near, for that matter) Ohio.

Honestly, I haven't spent much time in Tucson. There's probably something worth doing there. I just hate it because it's 2 hrs. away and a lot of tours (not the majority of them, but still) play Tucson instead of Phoenix.

But yeah, YOB in an arena is gonna be a trip-the sad thing is that most of the Tool fans will probably hate them. Good for YOB though, these are probably gonna be the biggest North American shows they'll ever play.

from what Ive gathered Tool fans always hate the openers

when I saw them in 2001 Fantomas opened and the audience booed the whole time, then a year later I had friends see them when Meshuggah opened and people bitched about them being too loud

yeah it's a shame, but I can see why it happens considering that Tool is a mainstream band and they pick bands that usually use harsh vocals or make music that any mainstream pop listener would think is just noise. Fantomas, Isis, Meshuggah, Melt-Banana, Melvins, Mastodon, My Bloody Valentine, Big Business etc. The same thing happens when Lamb of God or Gojira opens for Metallica.
