I'm really excited for epica, seeing as design your universe was my number 2 album in 2009. I don't care what anyone says, they're very tallented in my opinion.

Oh, and not strictly metal but the new Titus Andronicus is due out next year. Heard two songs from it when they opened for Fucked Up in NYC. It sounds like it's gonna have simpler, shorter songs than on The Monitor, but what I heard was still very good. If it's even close to as good as that record I have to assign it preemptive AOTY potential.

EDIT: And I heard about half of Abigail Williams' pathetic Wolves in the Throne Room imitation before turning it off laughing. Atmospheric black metal produced like sub-standard melodic death metal with about the same amount of musical ambition. Skiiiiiiiiip.
