Yeah shitty small venues ftw! Plus this bar had AMAZING sound. Actually it had the best sound next to the Hard Rock in Orlando. It'll be worth it, do your best to get there

Also even at the Obscura concert, it was only the front rows who were windmilling and going insane. Before 'Ocean Gateways' Steffen asked a favor of the first three rows to show the rest of the crowd that its a death metal concert and not a fucking jazz show

That sucks, I would have definitely been going crazy at the show. They didn't get to much of an amazing response opening for CoB either, sucks, they deserve it.

Very cool review, man. That's great to see Mayhem go to Florida. I definately do sympathize w/ you guys down there, as a lot of tours do skip your state. A shame that so few people showed up. I know Florida is probably the America's death metal capital, so I figured black metal legend's like Mayhem could draw at least a couple hundred people. Glad you had a good time. You shoulda thrown some vodka into that Monster. Always wakes me up

I would have, but I had a test the day after and had to study in the car on the way back home. Yeah, very few tours hit us up and when they do its usually Orlando or Tampa, very few in South Florida around me. I think the small crowd was the promoters fault really as this show seemed to be barely known and even then it was on a wednesday and moved to a very unknown venue.
