Keep in mind that Stockholm is 9 hours ahead of California. It's very possible he could be a guest.

Yeah but it would be a 10+ hour flight from Sweden to San Francisco, not to mention travel to/from the airport and going through customs. I mean, it's not physically impossible, but very unlikely. I hope I'm wrong, but...

Yes it is, but you're gaining time flying that direction. When I flew from Norway to California (with a connecting flight in Paris) I left at 6am and got to LAX at 2pm, if I remember correctly.

But Motorhead is playing a show in Stockholm today. So even if they left when their show was over (11pm?), they would arrive in San Fran after the Metallica show is already over.
