Definitely liked them in concert, which had a good chunk from Heritage.

Wow, haven't listened to Black Dahlia yet? Even after all the hype it got? AND your love for Nocturnal?!

Manks, if there's ever a single shred of advice you should ever follow from me, let it be this: LISTEN TO RITUAL. Deflorate was a huge "meh" for me too, and Ritual's probably my album of the year.

This. And after you're done, you're going to have 52 albums on your list.

Just finished my list!

51 albums, but from 45 up I pretty much really like. A great year for music!

BEST SURPRISE BANDS OF 2011

By surprise bands, I either mean bands I had never heard of or bands I wasn't looking forward to that performed exceptionally well!

====

5.

WHITE WIZZARD

opening for Forbidden, along with Revocation, Havok and Vanlade

I think White Wizzard is as close as any of us will get to hearing late 70s, early 80s Iron Maiden without sounding like an uninspired rip-off. Tons of fun.

Original Review

Highlight: High Speed GTO
