It's disappointing now, but then it was just pure shit. I had never heard them before, and my god, was I completely in awe of how much they sucked to my ears. Maybe now that I listen to them I'd enjoy it, but then I couldn't stand it. If I remember correctly, I left to get a hot dog

Me too, because that's the only thing that really makes sense. Telling us what country the headlining band is from is rather irrelevant (unless of course you're trying to distinguish between bands called "Shining" or the like), but telling us where the show took place is actually relevant information.

Got dammit, Fonzy.

I'll be honest - they didn't exactly blow me away, either. They certainly didn't suck, but I was a little underwhelmed. The nostalgia was more palpable than the actual level of awesomeness in terms of sight and sound.

Granted, you saw them at the Grog Shop. They shouldn't be playing there. Seeing them at church was mind-blowing.

I don't doubt you there, but the Grog was actually the best place in town for me to see them, because the sound is actually not bad and you can get right up on top of the stage there. It was definitely awesome being ten feet away from Tom G. Warrior for about an hour while he did his thing...no arguments there.

But yeah, seeing them in church would be tits.
